That's a brill tip though popsycal, I can't understand you being beaten??

My gift to a mate as well as others was shepherds pie and veg taken to her round the corner when she had DD2 and it was gratefully recieved

I thought the tip about encouraging children to cook was quite good, actually. Is that the one you're talking about? When my oldest son (then 6 or 7) badgered me to let him cook, I had no idea how much I'd come to rely on him. Three years later, he's old enough to make picnics and breakfasts by himself - very useful I can tell you Glad I let him mess around in the kitchen when he was younger.
