Adding photos

Hi

I'm trying to add a photo using iPhone app, but keep being told there are no photos! What am I doing wrong? Thanks.

Sorry you're having problems attaching images. Can we just check what's happening here? If you click on the paperclip icon, and then the + sign, you should get a pop-up box that says: Mumsnet Talk would like access to your photos so you can add them as attachments.

Are you seeing that message?

Could you go to ‘Settings’ on your iPhone. > Search for ‘Mumsnet’ in your settings & select the MN Talk app from the list > Check what access the app has for ‘Photos’. It may be that it's set to ‘None’ - if so, that means that you haven’t given the app permission to access your images. You can change that in your settings and you should then be able to access your images within the Talk app.

It was set to full access. I just tried switching to no access and then changing it back to full access again in case that worked, but it didn't!

I always find I can select new photos for one post but that's my limit for the day. Can't add others later. But I can on browser; on iPhone app and iPhone safari. Will now check the app settings. It can be frustrating.
