Getting black screen adverts asking me to rotate which don't disappear when I scroll again. Using an iPad, safari and I hold it landscape.

Clicked on it and got this

ipad safari - taking up the entire screen

This has been going on for months. I’ve complained before.

Not to excuse MN but to explain: The actual ads you see are not selected by MN, they come as part of a package deal from advertising companies and are handled by those companies. Sometimes those companies deliver shit antisocial ads like this. Sometimes those companies also aren't aware, having had the bad ads delivered from another ad company they're partnered with. Yes, it's utter rubbish and leads to us getting crap like this and ineffective response from MN because they can't directly stop it.

Once a company signs up to include ads supplied externally, they've got a deal with the devil that they can't control.

And again this morning. I love this site but it’s just unusable.

I think it’s the way it does not happen on any other website I visit. And I visit a huge amount of random sites.

Are you actually going to do anything about it or are you content to run a website that looks like there’s someone behind the scenes cycling a bike that’s hooked up to the power?

There is no other website that looks as shoddy and amateur as this one.
