Is Nike ad freezing threads?

anyone experiencing this?

some threads have stopped scrolling & frozen mid thread recently and I notice it’s (for me anyway) only ones that have the Nike ad on

I wait a few seconds or click the ‘why this ad?’ for the thread to be scrollable again

not tortuous just irritating me enough now to start a thread

It is happening with the Vodafone ad for me. Only on the desktop and on google chrome.

It didn’t happen in brief scoot about last night, or this morning

however MN is now the only site that the radio (on ph) cuts out on when I try & read/listen at same time

I think the universe just wants me to MN less 😂

so radio & housework it is 🤷🏼‍♀️

thanks for looking at the ad issue, at least I can read MN later without that being the problem

Hey @LilyMumsnet some Croyden thing is doing it now (haven’t seen Nike tonight)

as per nike the thread unfreezes if I click the why this ad link

but it refreezes about 8 scrolled posts later

if I click the ad itself it goes to this link:
