Has tech been having a fiddle again?

Because the site has just slowed right down and gone glitchy (and horrible to use)

Whatever it is, it doesn't work well. Can it be removed?

Back to normal - phew - so I guess tech knew it was broke and fixed it. Thank you

It's not back to normal for me. I'm on a laptop on Chrome. Pages just become unresponsive with a pop up window saying so and asking if I want to wait or exit. It's been happening for a couple of days now.

It's happened on Safari on my iphone a couple of times recently too.

Hi there @CurlyhairedAssassin. There shouldn't be anything 'new' or fiddled with causing this but we'll have a look. Can we ask you to check how many posts per page you have your preferences set to? If they're not at 25 per page, try changing to that. On longer threads that sometimes seems to sort this issue out. It might be worth clearing your cookies, too. If you've tried both those and it makes no difference, let us know and we'll have a think about what else it could be.

One more thing @CurlyhairedAssassin - if you do spot this again could you send us a link to the page you were on when it happened. That might help us track down the problem. Thank you!
