Can't navigate with keyboard arrow keys in text box

Bit of a niche one - maybe I'm the only one who has noticed

I MN on a Windows 11 PC mostly (Chrome browser latest version).

I've noticed literally just tonight that my arrow keys aren't working to navigate within the text box.

Even more weird, the up and left arrows work fine, but the down and right arrows don't work at all. I thought it was my keyboard, and cleaned it out before I thought to check on another program and they work fine there, checked on another website and they work fine there. It's just MN. I've pressed all the buttons (num lock, scroll lock, insert) on and off, and nothing.

Apparently I use them quite a lot to navigate and edit posts as I'm writing (?? this is news to me but anyway) as it's quite jarring when I try to move the cursor and it won't do what I want it to do.

Anyway maybe me posting this will prompt other Desktop users to check and see if they are having the same issue.

It's not just you! It does look like that's a bug that's slipped through the cracks.

We'll get this resolved as soon as possible!

My right and down arrows don't work either! The right went first, and now the down.

Thoughts it was crumbs in the keyboard.

I've been having this for the past few hours whenever I've gone on MN - and I too thought my laptop (Windows 10) might have broken. Same two arrows not working as well.

I never realised how much I used those arrows until they stopped working and I've had to keep moving the cursor with the mouse.

I hope the bug is fixed soon.
