Constant scrolling on website

(Apologies if this has been posted before) I'm using the website on an Android phone, and I find that on some talk pages, the page will constantly scroll down at a slow speed, whether or not I move around within the page myself. This doesn't happen reliably for any given talk thread but seems to keep happening on a given page once it starts. And obviously it makes it very difficult to read...

I'm wondering if this has something to do with adverts? Has anyone else had the same issue?

Yes I've had the same recently - just have to leave that thread and read something else as it's so unusable.

I think MNHQ will want to know which threads, will try to post them here next time it happens.

I'm on an android phone using Chrome

Hi both!

Can we check how many posts you're viewing per page?

mentalblank · 22/03/2024 07:46

Thanks - 25 posts per page. Typically, this morning I haven't experienced this issue at all - will post if it happens again!

Isn't it always the way! Thanks for letting us know.

Yes, this happens to me too. It is incredibly annoying. I'm usually on an iPhone, using safari.

I’ve had it for the first time tonight on an I Phone but find it stops if I tap the screen at the side. It’s not on every post.

I have been experiencing this at random too. Not on the thread posted above though.
