Has the 'zombie thread' warning disappeared?

Ridiculous numbers of old threads being bumped up to active in the last few weeks. This morning this included a sensitive thread about pregnancy termination which the op ended up replying to, pointing out that it was old.

Has MN removed the warning and if so why???!

Hi there, @Reallybadidea. No, there shouldn't have been any changes to cause a sudden increase like this and the warning is still there. If you've still got a url for that thread, we'll happily have a look and see if we can find out if there's something odd going on there.
