selling services on talkboards

There may be a policy on this, but I can't find it. Someone has posted to the Breast and Bottle feeding board offering her services as a 'maternity consultant' and has posted her phone number. This is a paid-for service. I and others don't think this is really appropriate, especially as she was not upfront about it being a paid-for service.

Surely there is a rule about touting for business on the boards?

I should think that belonged in the small business ads section.

There is tiktok - if you want to advertise your services you have to do a small business ad.

I think you should report the post in question adn let MNHQ follow it up with the poster concerned

Sounds like it should be int eh "classidfieds" or "business ads" section.

I would report teh individual post (if you havn't already) and then MNHQ can see exactly which post you mean and take action if necsessary
