Dear New Tech People, Can I add my yet unborn child to my profile ?

I was trying to set up a profile (having been on the board for a couple of years thought it about time)

I can add my 19 month old DD to my profile but not my bump

Any chance of having the option of 'unknown' under gender and 'Pregnant with' instead of childs age or something...please

you'll be asking for tickers next

BabiesEverywhere · 20/03/2008 23:13

No bloody tickers, just a bump option for the children list.

I tried to do the same thing the other week BE. Was surprised it wasn't possible. I thought we could just stick in due date instead of actual birthdate.

Seems like a bit of an oversight - we'll let Techs know...

Thanks Justine

not a good idea i think, with all the pregnancies that dont end with a baby-lots of profile changing, and if you forget...
I dunno-probably a great idea, im just being cautious.

Disenchanted · 26/03/2008 11:25

Dn't be daft imum!

Should we not have our kids on there either in case something ever happens to them and we forget to change our profile?!

Most pregnancies DO result in babies andpeople should be able to include their due dates on their profiles.

If people are catious like yourself then they can simply ingnore that profile feature.

CantSleepWontSleep · 26/03/2008 16:30

I appreciate that this might be a sensitive subject for you iMum, given your recent m/c (although I hear that congratulations are in order again ), but it is up to people to use this feature only if and when they choose to. Personally I would only add this feature once I had reached the 12 week milestone and had a successful scan, but I would like to be able to do so at this point.

iMum · 26/03/2008 20:53

Oh yes, am well aware of being over sensitive-and truly think its fine, just somthing for some peeps to ignore if they choose-ignore me, being daft!!
