Hidden threads taking ages to 'hide' in Active?

Even when refreshing I still see all the threads I hid for quite a while. Is there a set time for them to go?

I tend to hide them when I know I am not interested so often end up with a lot of hidden ones so I can move on to the ones I am interested in.

Can we just check what device and browser you're using to access the site, and can you let us know how long this has been happening?

@LilyMumsnet Windows 10 laptop, Chrome browser (up to date). It's been a good few weeks. I refresh often, keep cookies & history under control. It just takes a while for the buggers to go.

In the old days the threads would change colour and I knew I had read them, but that stopped so now I have to hide them, otherwise they haunt me until they die off.

Thanks for letting us know. Can you give us a rough estimate of how long it takes for the thread to hide?
