The Thanks button

I am probably missing something - but i only notice if someone has clicked that on one of my posts, if i happen to go back to my post for some reason (I almost never do)

And now i am wondering what I'm missing here. Is there some way to see that without going back and inspecting all my posts? If there isn't, why not. If there is - where is it hidden?

It usually shows on my notifications. Have you checked your settings? Not sure if there is a toggle for them.

no. I have been through everything. It is baffling. And irritating.
it really should be out front if we have the function (it's a daft function, imo, if you don't know anyone is using it)

going to add i am using the website on a windows 11 laptop.
I do use the android app but it is so devoid of any useful functionality as to be practically useless anyway.

If someone thanks one of your posts you should get a notification - unless you've switched notifications off?

As above, you should be able to turn thank notifications on in settings - can you check?

i had the notification switched on when i checked, so i should already have had some. But where do i get them? email? i don't check my email, and that would be a bit silly to have to keep checking my emails to see if i got a thanks or not

I mean, I'm not that bothered, but why isn't there a visible sign somewhere?

I've thanked your post @MiniFig - you should see a little red dot - go to the top right of your screen, above the yellow 'premium' lozenge, and there's a little icon of a person; beside that - now - there should be a red dot. This the notification.
