New reaction button?

Hi.

I'd really like to see a new reaction button, alongside the 'Thanks' button.

Could we have one along the lines of 'This Is Not About You' or 'NAY'?

I'd love to be able to use that to stop some of the horrible derailing or bun fights, that go on to someone's thread. They can really detract from the OP, and her original question or request. People could send that, instead of the derailing taking over the thread.

Even better would be if a comment got a number of 'NAY's', it got automatically deleted.

You could use the space where the useless 'Reply' button is now. 😁

We would always advise that you report any concerns to us regarding thread derailment. We can try and intervene on threads to prevent this type of thing from happening. We won't always be able to change the course, but we're always keen to take a look.

The thanks has actually been really successful as a reaction but we are still tracking it's performance before we make a decision to add more. That said, we're happy to hear user suggestions and will look at all the feedback.
