How do I report a post?

I've never contacted MNHQ before. Do I click on contact mumsnet then send an email to report an offensive comment? Or is there another way? Also If I did how does mumsnet deal with it, if they agree, do they simply remove it or slap the persons hand? It wasnt removed at the time but posts that are against policy must slip through. Or maybe I'm just being sensitive

Probably let this one go as it is water under the bridge but just want to know for next time it happens .

click on the red exclamation mark in the corner of the offending post.

look on the right hand side of each post where it's blue, there is an envelope and a red exclamation mark. Click on the exclamation mark.

Thanks, I did'nt realise that the red exclamation mark was for that purpose. Now if I'd moved my mouse over it I would have known!!
