Several times a day over the last week, I'll be reading a thread and it just closes and takes me back to the home screen. I'm on the app on android.

Hi there @toadinthebucket . Thanks for getting in touch. We are aware of this issue and have been looking into it. It's been a difficult one for us to replicate so if you are able to get a screen recording of what happens and send it over to us, that would be really helpful. We know that's a big ask though so don't worry if not.

We'll continue trying to fix it at our end and will update in Site Stuff once that's happened but we are on a skeleton staff over Christmas so, just to forewarn you, it may not be immediate. Thanks for your patience.

Thanks for a response. I can't get a screen grab as it just goes back to active... it would just be a screenshot of the active page.

Hi @toadinthebucket - I think they mean record what happens in a video- you can start the recording before you open the app, then it will record what happens and then you stop the recording.

Here are the instructions for how to do it on android (I use an iPhone so can't test this I'm afraid) support.google.com/android/answer/9075928?hl=en-GB

Ah ok thanks for the explanation. No, I'm not doing that. A paid member of staff can.

Well if you want them to see what happens on YOUR phone then you need to provide the video. It's quite likely they can't replicate the error you are seeing. It's totally standard to ask a user experiencing problems to show the tech people exactly what the problem looks like 🤷🏼‍♀️

They are aware of the issue and have been looking into it. It is not an issue on just my phone that I am asking them to fix.

I do not want a screen recording of my phone usage stored on my phone and I don't want to send it to MNHQ either. When reading MN I break off to read texts and emails etc. I don't wish to share that.

Sarcastic Shrug back to you too.
