Time stamps out of whack in Notifications

Something I've noticed recently - when you get a notification to say that someone has either tagged you or thanked you, it gives the time/day when that happened. But they're wrong in my notifications.

It doesn't really matter, as they're notifications I've clicked on, so they're now greyed out, but I was just curious as to why this would happen.

So for example, the one before last I've had, says someone has commented on/quoted me in a thread I'm on, 50 minutes ago, whereas actually it was 6 days ago.

Could be something minor, but thought I'd draw it to your attention as I know you're all just drinking the Christmas booze now.

(Oh, and using the desktop site, Mac, Safari, before you ask!)

Oh - correction - the notification I keep getting (now at the top of my greyed-out notifications) is one from 6 December, not 6 days ago.
