Is there a way to disable getting the "There are X amount of new threads in AIBU/Chat" notifications?

I don't recall seeing these until recently but I don't feel they're necessary so is there a way to stop receiving them?

You can turn these off in talk settings: https://www.mumsnet.com/settings/notifications

Once you're in notification settings, click on 'web notifications' and scroll to 'Notify me when there are new threads on the topics I am following'. You can turn these off from here.
