It's gone from my 'I'm on', with no deletion notice - not in News, where it was, or moved to AMA, as far as I can see.

I can’t find it either!

I was following silently as I found it a really interesting discussion. I’m a registered nurse myself and I have taught clinical skills to student PAs. I just can’t imagine having the role they do after only 2 years of training, it’s something I find really scary but it was interesting to hear the other side.

Do you think the PA had hurty feelings as people were pointing out the limitations of the role and asked for it to be removed? odd that no deletion message.

You're not wrong. It is scary, and dangerous.

@notmorezoom The thread definitely did not go the way OP wanted. However I really wish it was kept up - it’s an important discussion that affects patient safety. I don’t know what the answers are but as I said, interesting to hear perspectives from different roles.

Morning @notmorezoom (and others)! We've checked back on this one and yes, unfortunately, it has gone. It's partly our mistake to be honest - the OP did have some concerns about the way it was going but we'd agreed with her that we would move it to our 30 Days Only topic so it would have a 'shelf life' if you like. It looks like we didn't spot that the thread was already more than 30 Days Old so it just deleted itself as soon as we moved it. Apologies - we can see quite a few people were following it with interest.
