And yes Mumsnet I apologise in advance as it's a thread about a thread and this will also get deleted but I need to air my frustrations !!
I've just wrote a massive, thoughtful and honest reply to the poster worrying about c section and sleep, went to post and boom gone !
It really frustrates me that people will make up a load of shit for this to then happen

I have more of a problem with MN arbitrarily deleting threads which may well contain helpful advice TBH.

So they said it was not a genuine Mumsnetter, did this mean a troll I'm guessing ?

Maybe it would be possible, @losingthe, for @MNHQ to email a copy of your post on request, so that you can re-post it on a genuine thread about c-sections/sleep? It seems to a shame to waste it, I agree. MNHQ still have the thread knocking around somewhere on their system - we just can't see it any more.

Hello, @losingthe we're really sorry that happened and we know it's immensely frustrating. We can't say too much about this particular poster but they're an especially nasty troll and we really don't want to give them any oxygen.

@sparklefresh we really don't arbitrarily delete threads. There is an argument for leaving them up in some cases if they contain useful posts but we must balance this against the cost of MNers giving their time to respond and sometimes recounting their own painful experiences. We don't feel it's fair to do that if the OP is a troll getting some weird kick out of the attention.
