Is it slowing it down?

not that i've noticed. do you think it is?

seems to ne a bit slow, also freezes abit when the cookie admission comes up.

My access to threads is a lot slower, I think its the discovery heath advert at the top of the page. I also keep clicking on it accidentally!(The advert that is)

I've alerted Tech to this - we're not aware of any problems but will certainly investigate further and let you know.

I'd not noticed any problems.

I'm finding I have to wait for a few seconds when I click onto a board or a thread until the adverts are all there before I can scroll down. It's not a huge problem though.

Yes, sadly, any ad will slow down the loading of the page, as your browser has to make an extra request for the ad image. Nothing we can do about it really, except put limits on the size of files we can accept as ads. If we didn't have any, we wouldn't be here. Bit like ITV.
