Suddenly seeing a lot of zombie threads

Hi there @Orange67. Thanks for getting in touch. We can't think of any reason why there should be more zombie threads cropping up at the moment. Are you seeing them in any particular boards? Occasionally we get a troll who will reanimate threads on a particular subject so it could be that. We'll take a look anyway.

It's starting to fill my "I'm on" page, I think there's 5 been reignited that are definitely no longer relevant. One thread was 2 years out of date 😞

Were they revived by spammers or confused genuine posters?

It started when the similar threads appeared at the bottom of a thread.

It's confused posters, by the looks of it. This happened with the "threads you might like" malarky months ago, but all has been fine.. Until this last couple of weeks!!

I've seen so many examples but can't screenshot everything, as I've kept unfollowing random old threads that keep coming back. These are ones I ignored.

"I don't trust DH" thread on a recommended is over 6 months old, so I assume this kinda thing is how it's happening again.

I've noticed this too - to the extent that I did wonder if someone was searching threads I'd been on to resurrect them! <paranoid>

Something has definitely changed because I'm sure the 6 month old+ ones don't need to be recommended to anyone, or they need to be locked!

Me too in the threads I'm on. I do think it's the recommended threads function.
