Thanks for flagging this. This is something that's internet-wide, not just related to Mumsnet. We're really good at blocking them quickly when we find them.

We do have controls to protect the site against adverts like this - it's just that they can, sometimes, slip through the net and get in. We're working behind the scenes to create a better system for bad adverts but in the meantime, we really would need a URL to the landing page of the advert. This means we can block it instantly.

Of course, if you don't want to then we understand. However, if you turn wifi and data off and click, it should still load the URL without loading the advert.

The reason we can't replicate this is because it's a google ad choices ad, and they aren't visible to us. Google fill the ad spaces, so it's not a direct Mumsnet advert (and we do have very strict guidelines).
