Mumsnet abbreviations

Hello,

I'm very new to mums net and am thoroughly enjoying finding my way around and gaining valuable advice and opinions.

However, can someone please tell me what some of the abbreviations are?

Ie: DD? DS? DD2?

darling daughter/son/husband

(DD = dear daughter when you only have the one.

If you have more than one, DD1 is the eldest, DD2 is the next one, etc)

DD2 would be 2nd daughter but not necessarily 2nd child btw (by the way).
