How to turn off notifications - I don't want emails

OK so firstly, apologies, this is an ancient issue covered by previous threads.

However, when I go to my 'little person' and toggle off website notifications, it doesn't have any effect. I don't want my email filled up with these... what to do ?? Make it stop!

It’s possible because I’ve done it but I can’t remember how! I don’t get any emails at all.

Have you turned off “email notifications”?

I’ve just checked my settings and email notifications have been turned off.

Update: OK so I went to my 'little person' and toggled off 'website updates' and that didn't stop the email notifications.

However, I searched for 'unsubscribe' on one of the email notifications, I found a settings or preferences link and it said 'turn off email notifications'.

I'm so happy. But for anyone else trying to figure out the same - this is the solution, via the email notification find a settings preference link in the body of the email.
