The new site pop up

I really dislike this.

I'm so sick of websites being cluttered and interrupting me and getting in my way by throwing up continuous pop ups.

It's like trying to navigate the web in the 90s before you realised you needed anti virus software.

If it's not chat boxes/how can we help boxes, it's join our mailing list and if it isn't that it's offers and buy now.

And now this site is throwing up a purple pop up banner telling me it's my last chance to buy mumnet recommended stuff I don't need.

FFS.

Mumsnet delivers a basic, dated website but somehow finds the nous to add pop ups?

Please, do away with this new feature Mumsnet. It's not impressive, it's just bloody irritating.

I agree - it is irritating and nobody is going to look at whatever is written on the purple thing blocking what they were trying to look at, so it is also pointless.
