Option to report spam straight from active convos.

Sometimes it’s just immediately obvious from a thread title that it’s spam. But you have to open then thread to be able to report.

It would be much better if users could simply report posts straight from active. The only options at the moment are hide and watch. Could report be added to the three dot menu for each post?

It feels like a lot of work to, for example, have to open an obvious spam thread in Hangul in the camping section just to flag it to MNHQ.

I second this- its infuriating to have to click on the thread first when it is blatantly a spam thread.

Agree - I don't want to open them in case I accidentally click on a spammy link.

Yes it would make it much quicker to be able to
report when you see the title in Active - the slew of spambot-type posts recently, which are obvious from the title! - would be much more quickly flagged

This is a very good point.

And it’s not just about avoiding spam.

Being able to report without opening threads most definitely makes users more secure - they minimise the risk of accidentally clicking a malicious link or similar.

I agree this would be good. You don’t need to open the current wave of spambot posts to know what they are.

I’d also like threads you report as spam to be automatically hidden from Active without needing to click on “hide thread”
