Hi,

I tried to sign up for the free banjo Robinson magazine offer , but it is 70p, not free? (It’s not a lot, but thought I would flag this in case it’s a fault).

Hi OP

Thanks for flagging this - we're taking a look and will get back to you. Flowers

Hi there @Dizzywizz. Think we have an answer for you. The 70p is to help cover postage & packaging, we're told. You still get the month free, plus the activity pack and world map poster worth £12. It's just the 0.70p P&P you need to pay.

Dizzywizz · 04/10/2023 18:00

Fair enough…they should make that clearer then

Just to let you know that I signed up via the Mumsnet link, and despite this being the offer I agreed to (photo below - not what I was expecting for the Mumsnet code but seemed reasonable), they have now charged me £12 for this second month.
I don't know what has gone wrong but clearly the code has caused a few issues this time. I've emailed but they're closed until Monday.

Has anyone else had this?

@Sunriseatsix they have charged you the £12 for the whole 6 months - it costs £2 a month but if you look at the website there is not a pay per month option.

It's very misleading as it seems that whilst you can "cancel any time" that simply cancels the auto- renew at the end of 6 months. The six months is a sunk cost.

I would web chat on Monday and show them that screenshot and argue that those are not the terms you signed up for.
