It would be nice to have a place to talk about sex, good or bad, serious or jokey?? Or am i the only nymphomaniac on mumsnet?

DualCycloneCod · 06/03/2008 11:51

yes that will attract a relaly nice lcinetele of literally
wankers tot hesite

lucyellensmum · 06/03/2008 11:57

you don't approve then Cod?

Seriously though, people often want to ask questions about sex, it is an important part of ours lives. I just think that the relationships bit is often not the right place for the more tongue in cheek posts, you know, how to give a good bj. Was thinking of a more fun chatty topic.

Not of course that i have any questions, im an EXPERT!

Subdivided

Fanjo Tango

Up the arse

Spit or swallow

and

Round the bend

Bet you'd be fighting up the 'drop in wankers' 24/7

lucyellensmum · 06/03/2008 12:00

[SHOCK] I ALWAYS THoops thought netmums was too prim for that sort of thing. I guess thats a no then, which is fair enough

noddyholder · 06/03/2008 12:01

I think if you have a general non extreme question then you can ask in relationships.A whole section which will invariably descend into silly season then no.If you have particular sexual preferneces that you need to talk about there are endless places online to do that. This site would be in inundated with dodgy new members i'm sure

PaulaYatesBiggestFan · 06/03/2008 12:01

i dont mind where it goes tbh but i truly do not want it here

lucyellensmum · 06/03/2008 12:02

yeah, your'e all right, and im wrong - it happens sometimes

OP posts:
PaulaYatesBiggestFan · 06/03/2008 12:02

i always thought the folk that talked about it all the time were the ones not getting any....

Blandmum · 06/03/2008 12:03

'i dont mind where it goes tbh but i truly do not want it here '

Amen to that Paula, and that is my feeling about so many (ahem) aspects of the sex threads

DualCycloneCod · 06/03/2008 12:04

llol
and on a sex thread all the usual suspects roll out.................

Aquasea · 06/03/2008 12:04

Oh bollocks. I thought it was a good idea

OverMyDeadBody · 06/03/2008 12:06

I don't think we need a section dedicated to it here surely?!

If it's a serious question, post in relationships, if it isn't serious, post in chat.

I'm all for discussing sex but please, not a whole section, it would really lower the tone

I think its a really stupid idea, what is wrong with the OP?? She should grow up and take her smutty talk else where

You have all made really good poitns why it would be a bad idea, do you think i should get the thread deleted just in case someone in MNHQ decides to create it out of spite

Hi there
Just to let you know that we're not really convinced that having a sex topic is the best of plans.

I couldnt agree more!!! What a stupid idea - LEM beats herself upside the head with a stale kipper!

fryalot · 06/03/2008 14:50

gah! who's stupid idea was it in the first place?

lucyellensmum · 06/03/2008 14:56

some stupid bint!

OP posts:
ElfOnTheTopShelf · 06/03/2008 14:58

Surprised there is no seperate topic section, gives an easy option to "ignore" to whose who moan that they dislike seeing threads titled "lets talk about anal sex".

Also surprised there is no section, given the amount of sex threads that are created

hecate · 06/03/2008 17:14

I think that any sex questions/problems can be (and are) addressed as relationship issues and that a section devoted entirely to matters of the flesh would simply encourage you lot to be mucky, and, frankly, you dirty buggers people don't need much encouragement at the best of times!
