Gardening - OP view and Compact view

OP view is useless.
I click on the Gardening thread and see one and a half posts, then have to scroll and scroll with ads, photos, breaking up the screen - when what I want to do is look at the page of Gardening and glance down the topics on the page until I see something I am interested in or am knowledgeable about, click on it and read.
If OP becomes the setting I will skip Gardening entirely as I don't have time to scroll and scroll. I am on a laptop. I will change to compact view but what why was it changed?

Hi @SueDonnym . Thanks for the screenshots. We've had a look and they are appearing 'as they should'. We appreciate that view might not be everyone's cup of tea though so your feedback is useful. That OP view is just something we are testing out at the moment, so no problem at all with sticking with the compact view if that works best for you.

@HebeMumsnet @LilyMumsnet We've had to put up with this horrible and annoying format in Gardening for a while now, so please can you either get rid of it, or set the compact view as the default and the OP view as the option. Thanks.

I second the "horrible and annoying". Can you put the two options in 'settings' so I can make a once-and-for-all choice to make 'OP view' go away instead of having to change it every single time I go to the Gardening section.
