Gardening topic problems

I have a stuck notification for the gardening topic. I follow the topic, so it tells me when there are new threads, but as of Wednesday morning that notification remains 'live' even after I've looked at the topic. To start with clicking into any new threads got rid of the notification, but now nothing shifts it even if there aren't any new threads or new posts.

And clicking on a thread opens it in a new window, rather than the same window as used to happen.

Please can we check what device and browser you're using to access the site?

Samsung phone & browser. Using the mobile web view, not the app.

It also keeps telling me there are new threads in Investments when there aren't (and certainly not 27 new ones as it told me this morning), but that notification does clear once it's been clicked on

As for the the notifications you're getting, unfortunately we've been having a problem lately with some pretty prolific spammers who've hit upon the Investments topic as their preferred place to post. We keep banning them and deleting all of their threads, but you'll still get notifications about them when they're first posted.

We're doing all we can to deter them so please bear with us.
