Navigation bar on posts

Hi MN.
Is it possible to link the reply function (on the bar under each post) to the actual post?

I think so many times, people press reply on a post thinking it does this, only for the post to be added to the end of the thread, making no sense.

Either that, or swap the reply icon on the bar, to the quote icon?
