"We believe you"/rape myths and posts

I'm sure when mumsnet launched the "we believe you" campaign we could report posters for victim blaming and they would be deleted.

Is this still the case? The Russell Brand story seems to have attracted a huge number of rape apologists to the site, there are some objectionable posts. I just wondering what options posters have to respond? Is mumsnets position more pro-free speech so rape myths will be allowed to stand? Or pro-"we believe you" and we can report?

Hi there @AdamRyan . Thanks for getting in touch. Rest assured, there's been no change in policy and our Talk Guidelines remain the same, so please do report any posts like this that you're concerned about. We'll always delete victim blaming in cases like this, as well as other rape myths.

Do remember that while we try to keep on top of sensitive threads like these, they are very fast moving and we're a post-moderated site, so it's likely that we haven't seen every post. The best way to get them under our noses is to hit the report button and give us a holler, so don't ever worry about doing that or assume someone else has.
