Domestic Violence Survey

Hi MNHQ - I see you've taken this down due to issues with the questions. Will responses that were added still be passed on to the survey organisers? I pressed on despite the questions not being ideally phrased, because I thought the purpose of the survey was worthwhile. Thanks.

In what world does the phrasing and vocabulary of a survey take precedence over such an important issue for women. :(

Well, that was my thought @Thatsmorethanhalf . The issues people were raising mainly related to 'gender' vs sex in the demographic questions, which is obviously a contentious issue but anything that can be done, even with a flawed approach, is worth doing in my opinion.

I finished it too and agree.

I was really pleased to see the MN was sponsoring a survey on VAWG for us to fill out.

I wouldn’t have taken it down if I were in charge of MN. Thousands of women are now missing out on the chance to have their say.

@OnAFrolicOfMyOwn Yes - responses already added have been recorded and we're working with WiD to bring the survey back online. We'll post here to update you. Thanks to all for taking part - we really appreciate it.

Thank you. It’s really important that women get the opportunity to have their say about their experiences of violence.
