What exactly has changed about the site?

After all the questionnaires and trial runs I joined in on, not to mention my insanely long analysis and suggestions, what exactly was changed? Apart from the fact that you took my suggestions about facilitating editing features like bolding and italics, it all seems the same - just as difficult and aggravating to navigate.

Dunno: what has not changed is the constant loss of posts due to the page re-loading for ads when you are half way through a post. (Safari, iPhone).

Hi OP

Thanks for getting in touch.

Can we ask what you find difficult to navigate? If you can talk us through it, we can take a look.

BIWI · 15/09/2023 12:48

You don't work for Mumsnet @MsAmerica! They don't have to take any notice of your suggestions!

@EggInANest , What do you mean, loss of posts?

Hi, Ms. Lily,
Quite a long time ago - maybe a couple of years by now - I wrote the equivalent of a few pages summarizing all the problems with the site, most of which are fixable, and it seems to me that nothing has changed - except that it's now easier to italicize.

Well, @BIWI , I didn't say anything implying that I thought they "have" to take my suggestions. I just noted that they did take one - although I'm sure I'm not the only one to have made that particular suggestion.

@EggInANest , What do you mean, loss of posts?

It happens when using web based MN on a mobile.

You write a long post, just about to press post and the whole page reloads to change adverts and your post disappears in a puff of smoke.

I lost 3 posts like this just this morning.

Various posters have been complaining about it for well over a year. Nothing ever happens.

It's just incompetent tech.

Scampuss · 23/10/2023 16:26

I've always found MN to be one of the most straightforward and easiest of sites to navigate. I'm not really sure what the problem is.
