The notification setting options for each kind of thing are just "yes" or "no" but could it possibly be changed to be 3 options something like "yes every time" "yes once per (insert number) days" "no".
On a thread with a lot of traffic, I am getting a ridiculous number of notifications. No sooner do I clear the notification that 3 more people have given thanks on my post and someone has quoted or mentioned me, and I go and read the replies, and my notification icon is clear for a few minutes and then it goes red again with another handful of thankses and replies. It's nice to have the notification feature in general but I don't want over a dozen notifications for the same thread on the same day.
