Sound cut off when Ads appear

I am listening to a podcast,and earlier today Radio4, on my phone and looking at Mumsnet. When I scroll down to an advert with sound as soon as it appears, even if I don’t touch it, the sound from my podcast stops. I then have go back to the podcast and turn it on again. Then back to MN. But the upshot is I can’t do both at the same time.
The podcast wins so MN is closed down.

This happens to me too. So annoying!

IPhone 13 and Safari

I haven’t turned phone on and off will try that.

Tried turnin phone on and off and seems ok now
