I have all text magnified on my Samsung phone but when anyone edits their post it becomes too small to read.
Please can edited posts stay the same size?

Hi OP

Can we just check what device and browser you're using to access the site? Flowers

I was just coming to Site Stuff to start exactly the same thread, so this is my 'me too'

I am using an android samsung phone and browsing in Chrome.

Here's an example from my own latest post which I edited for a minor spelling error.

I'm using same phone and browser as poster above.

Also, why do the list of active conversations and the other stuff on this page remain small?

Can't see edited posts on Chrome on a Fairphone either - just have to ignore any edited posts

Thanks for posting the screenshots. We're looking into this and will be back with an update as soon as we can.

@JoMumsnet thank you very much.

Any update on this @JoMumsnet? It really disrupts the flow of the thread and I end up just not reading the edited posts, surely just the "edited" sign is needed.

HebeMumsnet · 18/09/2023 11:48

Hi there @Pinkywoo . Thanks for getting in touch again. We've no update yet we're afraid but we are working on it and will post here when there's any news.

Been three weeks now, The Times can make edited posts visible for those of us who use an enlarged font on our mobile settings.

LilyMumsnet · 18/09/2023 16:22

Hello

We can assure you that this is is currently being looked into by the team and we will let you know when we have an update on it. There isn't a quick fix for it which is why it's taking some time but as soon as we have an update, we'll let you know. Flowers

Pinkywoo · 09/11/2023 11:50

Any update on this?

Thismountain · 11/01/2024 07:37

I've been ignoring edited posts as a real faff to read (expanding screen with pinch point) but another thread has mentioned if you click on the very tiny to me blue "edited" you can see the original post, the original post is normal sized font.

Good of Mumsnet to let us visually impaired know this.
