How to edit

I've noticed people have edited posts. How does one do this please?

Three dots bottom right. Click and you should see edit option.

Is there a time limit as I can't seem to edit a post I typed in a rush?

You can't edit on the app though.

I wasn't on the app when I tried to edit, so I'm not sure why I can't.

Hmm, I see what you mean. I tried to access the edit function on my post above, just to check, but the option doesn't appear now.

Maybe you can't edit once somebody else has posted after you.

You can do it within a short time frame on your laptop, but not on your phone.

You can do it on your phone if you're on the mobile site (not the app).

I think it's a relatively short time limit for editing - 10 minutes rings a bell from the original MNHQ post about it? (But could be mis-remembering... wouldn't be the first time...😂)

Hello @nameitagain as previous posters mentioned, you'll have a short period of time to edit your post. (Being deliberately vague here to thwart trolls - but it's sufficient time to spot and correct any errors...) After that time you can ask MNHQ to do it for you by reporting your own post. Let us know if you're unable to find the option.
