To ask what the point of AIBU is any more?

Can someone at @MNHQ explain what the purpose of AIBU is now?

Obviously, the purpose of it originally was for posters to ask an actual question, Am I being unreasonable… to not want to visit Mexico at Christmas, to think teabags should only be used once, to want my friend to visit me for once.

It’s quite obviously now mainly used for traffic and I’d guess that around 60-70% of the threads posted on it are not an AIBU. Reporting threads which clearly belong in other topics such as Relationships, Work, Legal etc is pointless because MNHQ don’t move them which makes me wonder what the point of AIBU is now.

As a kind of secondary point to this, why have so many topics and not use them? People end up posting asking for advice in AIBU on sensitive topics because they get no response in the correct topic. They then get roasted by the twats and no one is happy.

I like AIBU, but not so much the stupid posts that should be in Chat or Relationships, ANY that piss and moan when they get their arses served up to them on a plate when the mass of MN PPs don't agree with them.

As a general rant, blue line/what colour are my eyes/ am I fat?/ is my BMI OK?/Is this a healthy lunch?/goady trans posts all piss me off.

Oh, and stuff that a Google search could sort out.

AIBU has always been used for traffic. I've seen posters re post threads in there when their threads have been ignored in the correct topic. Maybe posters should make the effort to reply to threads in other topics.

Don't like the objection above about dim people it's so mean people can't choose how bright they are I know that from my own rubbish exam results But can't you be dumb so called and have valid opinions I look on amI being unreasonable because it's the most interesting to me also I want to complain that aljazera has gone of TV it's the news We should not have news stations removed when it suits whoever I want the real news
