A lonely parents/ lonely child/ social isolation board?

I see so many threads on MN from lonely mums that don't have mum friends and also mums worried that their child does not have friends. There are so many threads at the moment about children without anyone to play with over school holidays or children worried they will have no friends when they go back to school.

Is there anything MN can do to help connect these people for mutual support? I am thinking a loneliness/ social isolation board could be a place on MN for mums to find mutual support...and maybe even to connect with other local mums in the same situation.

Social isolation is such a big issue in our society, yet there is still so much stigma around talking about it. I feel like acknowledging it as its own board on MN could be one way that MN could make a positive change in society. The first step in solving a problem is always to acknowledge that it exists.
