Username field in Reply form

Since yesterday, the username field populates with my registration email.

Trying to be helpful:
I think my password manager may be pre-filling it, but it's only started in the last couple of days. The password manager triggers on www.mumsnet.com/login though, so the glitch might not be coming from my end at all.

I don't mind trying a couple of experiments, but I'll have to keep logging out & in again to do them, so posting this first!

Please could we ask that you try clearing your cache and your mumsnet cookies?

Found it! The browser's password manager was pre-filling it. I've now removed Mumsnet from its saved passwords.

Still annoying for users relying on browser auto-fill, though. If it helps your tech people, it had the url listed as www.mumsnet.com/session/login.

Same problem here today. Will look into your suggestions.

Having deleted cache and browsing data that didn't help.

For any future users, my issue was lastpass and I had to disable autofill for mumsnet. All is now fine.
