Is there a way to clear hidden threads?

I have 84960 hidden threads and it has now become impossible to find accidentally hidden threads if I want to unhide them

Is there a way to clear them all in one go? Currently stuck having to click the little cross one by one but with so many hidden threads it's going to take me a few months to completely clear them way.

Oh yes please, I'm interested in this.

Hi there @AndTheSurveySays . We have an FAQ on this actually, which I'll link to as there's a fair bit of other useful stuff in there too. But this is the bit on how to unhide your threads:

Go to Mumsnet Talk Preferences – Topics and Threads. Go to the bottom of the page to Hidden Threads. Here it will list the threads you have selected to hide. Click the show button next to the relevant thread title to make it visible.

Hope that helps!

Thanks for the reply but it doesn't quite answer my question.

I'd like to know if there is a way to delete all the hidden threads in one go as it's impossible to find a thread to unhide when I have thousands of them hidden.

Hey @AndTheSurveySays apologies - we can do that in one go for you. If you're happy with that, just give us the nod and we'll press the giant red 'UNHIDE' button at MNHQ.

AndTheSurveySays · 19/07/2023 15:03

Yes please! Press the button!!!

@AndTheSurveySays no problem at all - we'll do that for you. It's right beside the other big red button at MNHQ that says 'DO NOT PRESS'. Absolutely nothing will go wrong whatsoever though, don't worry hahaha.
