Can't find the way to post a new thread.

After posting only a few times I started one thread but the path to start new threads seems to have disappeared for me. Can anyone help? The only way I managed to start this thread was through a link in site matters when looking for a solution in an old thread where it suggested starting a new thread and provided said link. Help!!

Above your your opening post on the right hand side there is a blue box saying Start new thread. I am on my iPad, using the desktop version, not the app though,, so you may not be seeing the same format as me.

Deescot · 08/07/2023 11:40

The box is nowhere to be seen when I am logged into talk, unfortunately.

For me (iPhone mobile site, not app) when I’m on the board I want to start a thread in, the option is in the middle of the blue boxes at the bottom of the page. See screenshot here.

Hello @Deescot thanks for posting.

We'll share some screenshots of where to add a thread via mobile site. If you're not on the mobile site and still can't start a thread, please let us know.

The option to start a thread on the topic page is the + sign at the bottom in the blue menu. The option to add a post to an existing thread is also the + sign that says 'add post'

The arrow circled in the third image shows a drop-down menu with the option to start a new thread while you're already viewing an existing thread.

If the above is no help, please let us know.

Hi everyone,

I have tested negative a few times but yesterday and today I have been feeling sick.

I have taken a test and feel like I can see a very very faint line but I don’t know if I can. It would be a lovely Christmas surprise if so as I had written this month off! What do you think?

Hello @Jess5678 you're best placed starting your thread in Conception or Pregnancy - let us know if you need help with this and fingers crossed for good news.

Ownedbykitties · 26/12/2023 19:21

Not sure if I've hit the right button to start a new thread? Can anyone let me know ?

HebeMumsnet · 27/12/2023 10:43

Hi there @Ownedbykitties. We can see that you started a thread last night in Relationships. Would that be the one?

Jo2244 · 06/01/2024 19:27

Hi all,
After some reassurance and if anyone’s experienced the same.
mom about 6 weeks pregnant with my 3rd. I’ve been experiencing spotting and a bit of bleeding for nearly a week. Called the midwife on Wednesday and they said it all sounded fine and like implantation bleeding because I had no cramping or pain in my shoulder. I experienced this a bit with my second but feel like I’m convincing myself it’s worse this time round as every so often the blood is bright red but then not the next time I go to the loo. Has anybody else experienced spotting for a longer period of time?
I'm thinking of calling the midwives again on Monday to ask them again. TIA xx

HebeMumsnet · 08/01/2024 10:35

Hi there @Jo2244 . You might want to post again in conception or pregnancy and start a new thread there.

Ownedbykitties · 08/01/2024 18:49

Yes I believe it is! No replies so I wasn't sure and couldn't trace it back. Thanks anyway.

Hi all,
We are in the middle of choosing between relocating or renovating .

Our post code is highly sought after.
The bigger properties here in North Leeds are 800k upwards.

But if I renovate my current plot which has build up are of 132 m2 and garden 88m2 , I lose 16m2 garden making it only 72. I have two boys 2 and 7 and finding it difficult to decide whether it is worth losing the garden . Will it decrease the resale value? My older one is a sporty person but we have woodlands behind our garden and our garden has a fab calming view.

Of course cost of reinvesting in a new property versus extension is another concern .
I would appreciate your all input esp about my worry about the garden size remaining if I choose to renovate. Thanks

Had a small stain on my upholstered light blue Office chair which has a deep foam cushion underneath the fabric. I soaked stain too much with water and hand soap and it dried with a much larger darker ring all around the cushion which must be water mark. It's like a darker shadow and so obvious as light blue chair. It has a deep foam seat underneath it. Any tips greatly appreciated as I'm so embarrassed as my boss purchased to help me as I have an injury

Morning, all! It looks like people are mistakenly thinking this is somewhere to post a new thread. We're going to close this now to save any further confusion.
