issues with chrome on mac desktop

struggling with accessing a lot of threads and clicky links on mac desktop version of chrome. It's like only the left part of thread links are clicky but if I click on other areas of links towards the centre of the page they are not clickable at all and neither are some of the buttons like post or see more pages of a thread etc.

Also when I highlight text to copy it seems to highlight a ginormous box as a highlight. see screenshot.

It seems like the big box is blocking certain buttons and areas of links, like it's sitting over soem of the content maybe???

Version 114.0.5735.198 (Official Build) (arm64)

Hello @greenstrawberry thanks for posting. Can we please check if you're using an ad blocker? What you're describing is typical of issues caused by the software and so we wanted to rule it first.

ah yes it could be that! it's weird because it's only just started and never happened before. will use a different browser maybe. Thanks
