Having trouble logging on via laptop

LookItsMeAgain · 30/06/2023 16:06

I'm currently having an issue trying to log on via my ChromeFlex laptop. I'm getting up the logon screen but where I used to type in my email address, the field isn't activated and I can't type in it.

I'm logged in through my phone.

I was able to login yesterday on my laptop. Is there a login issue at the moment?

The best way I could describe the login page is that it looks normal but it's behaving as if it's a jpg of the login page. I can't even alternate between the Log In tab and the Register tab.

Hi
I have been having the same issue since Thursday. A lot of the buttons aren't working and I can't log in. The log in page comes up but the user name and password bars are not working - you can't click on them as they're inactive. Also the pop up encouraging us to have an account or sign in keeps popping up but you can't get rid of it so it sits blocking your view and you have to leave the site to get rid of it.
I am using desk top on Chrome. It's becoming quite annoying now

I did a quick update on my ChromeFlex and then logged off (stayed logged on my phone). Overnight, I'm able to access the log in options again. I don't know what has happened in the intervening time but perhaps @MothralovesGojira you might check to see if there are any OS updates or any updates at all waiting to be installed on your device?

I'm pretty sure that MN haven't done anything in the background as they would usually come on to the thread and say as much.

Keep trying

Thank you @LookItsMeAgain we're glad the update has resolved the problem. @MothralovesGojira could you also please check if Chrome needs updating? Instructions are here. If the problem persists, please let us know.

Apologies for not having returned sooner but I've been at work.
I can confirm that everything seems to be back to normal and that I can now log in as normal. I'm not entirely sure what happened because I updated my Chrome on Friday and that definitely did not help matters. Like @LookItsMeAgain I could sign in on my tablet but not my laptop - it was all very weird but then again I did notice other unrelated things being glitchy online towards the end of the week 👻👽👿
Thanks for the input @YetAnotherBeckyMumsnet but I doubt that we were the only ones having issues
