Do you people at MNHQ know who they are or do you have to do some techy looking up to see?

I was just thinking about those who namechange out of embarrasment or to prevent offence.

and ( i doubt i will get an honest answer )are you tempted to find out who someone is on the more juicy namechanger threads?

MNHQ have access to your registration page which is where all your alias names are stored. The very shy could completely re-register using a different ISP & email account.

So yes, they should know who everyone is - smelly fanjo's, cheating husbands, trolls, the lot. But I'm sure they're very discreet and never laugh...

It's just that i signed in last night to namechange for a rather worthy thread.....but then didn't as i worried that MNHQ would know, giggle till they turned blue and then call each other to laugh at me.

I just wondered whether it was easy for them to do or if they had to go out and activly go through a load of info to find it and therefore making it less likely thatthey would unless it was a very interesting/offensive thread.

I am sure they are totally professional and wouldn't do such a thing

How do you name change anyway???

Empen, go to "My registration" above (near the right hand side of all the links) and then log in (with your email and password). You can then change your name (you'll "keep" your old one and can change back whenever you like).

Don't forget to save the changes. HTH

but would you look if the Troll finger was pointed at them?
