Keep finding I am logged out

Is it just me?
Since yesterday I am finding I have to keep logging back in if I go off and leave the page I am reading.
I don't want to start changing all my settings if it's not my laptop. Using Chrome.

Could you please try quitting/closing Chrome completely and reopening a new window, and then seeing if the problem persists?
