...then the sellers could use it or you could communicate with people online but without giving emails addyys out

and you would get more revenue from the extra ads

This must've been suggested before my time and there's a very good reason why we don't but I can't think of what they might be.
I"ll check though, thanks zippi

resourcing might be an issue (although I may be wrong and the legends are true about MN Towers being constructed from solid gold...)

More apps, more server(s), more management... ...Tech still has got around to RSS for topics yet, never mind webmail.. ;-)

GeekBoy · 15/02/2008 23:07

bugger - HASN'T not HAS for RSS...

Flamesparrow · 15/02/2008 23:12

Explain to a non-geek... RSS?

SlightlyMadSecretSoundWinner · 15/02/2008 23:13

soem sort of live feed thing which I ignore whenever I see it cos I don't understand it

GeekBoy · 15/02/2008 23:42

would allow geeks like me to monitor everything I'm interested in on one page.. ..new version of outlook also allows subscribe to RSS - so you would, for instance, see all the posts in this topic in another folder in your inbox.. ..and it would update itself sort of on its own...

...might also fall into the resource bucket (either in terms of people to develop or extra load on webserver(s))..

(that would be the sound of all of that going over my head )
