Name changing

Hi Mumsnet, is there anyway that you could flag a poster if they name change?
I know some do it for privacy, but it's becoming increasingly common on particular topics .

What do you mean, as in name changing and arguing on the same topic? Same person under various names on the same thread?

I think don't quote me it's called sock puppeting and if flagged MN will deal with it.

Sort of @iLiveALifeOfSin , thing is on certain boards lately you'd have to report every other poster .

I'm sure the vast majority of posters have changed their name at some point during their time on MN. Highlighting this wouldn't be very helpful.

Is there a specific reason why you want to indicate that a poster has changed names?

I think a little star next to the people who have posted / replied on the same thread but have name changed whilst posting on the same thread is helpful.

But if there's stars on everyone who has changed their name in general it would be useless as so many of us change our names. I change mine every few months or so.
