Can't paste?

Hi @MNHQ. I noticed yesterday and again today that I can't paste text into a post. It's working fine on my phone.

I'm using Safari version 16.3 on a MacBook running Ventura 13.2.1.

I'm having the same problem @LilyMumsnet I'll post a pic of what it looks like when I try to paste a comment.

The full text changes to a username in a grey text box repeated over and over. The bigger the text being pasted the more the username is repeated.

Sometimes it cannot be deleted so have had to leave the thread and go back in

I'm using my android phone, chrome and it has been happening for the last couple of days for me and happens EVERY time I try to copy and paste a comment I want to refer to.

Also, my browser and phone are fully up to date

I tried to copy and paste a long post to give you a better idea. I'll post pics of the original post I copied and attempted to paste, what happens after I paste and another pic with the thread title, altho it is happening no matter what thread I attempt to copy and paste anything.

I have noticed it appears to be a problem specifically with copying text that includes text inside a grey box.

We know this is a big ask, but would anyone be able to email a screen recording of this issue over to contactus@mumsnet.com - with 'FAO Lily' in the subject title?
